CD Description : The Japanese title gThe Ventures '71h conveys the ambition of this album as the first release by the reborn Ventures following their 10th anniversary album. Yet, surprisingly, it became their first original album to fail to chart in the US, resulting in a commercial disaster. Still, it features original songs exceeding four minutes, showcasing Jerry's sticky guitar work. Bob's bass playing also deserves attention. Since it seems unlikely to be reissued on CD in Japan, it can be considered a valuable rarity.
